BOCHAO ZHANG

Personal Statement

I'm a PhD student in Biomedical Science. This is my forth year. I have a cat. I like spicy food.

Research Statement

My research focus on identification of B cell and T cell receptor and analysis of clonal overlap in repertoires from different tissues / B cell type. My identification method is based on using some conserved parts in germline as anchors to pinpoint the relative position of sequence to corresponding germline. I'm also working on finding the clonal overlaps among different tissues / cell type and quantification of this pattern.

Projects

[2] Analysis of similarity of BCR / TCR germlines and quantifying the accuracy of identification at certain length and mutation frequency
